Entering Financials for the Work Agreement
When a job is awarded, RoofMarketplace needs financial details from adjusters to generate and circulate the Work Agreement for signature.
Access the Financial Details within the RoofMarketplace Portal
-
Log in to RoofMarketplace at roofmarketplace.com/app or by clicking ‘Login’ in the header of the RoofMarketplace homepage.
-
On the Dashboard screen, select the ‘Jobs Awaiting Financial Parameters’ card and click the open icon to view the claim.
Enter the Financial Parameters
First, we begin by showing the auto-populated RCV Amount after the job is awarded. It reflects the awarded bid total and represents the full Replacement Cost Value (RCV) for the approved scope of work.
Important: The amounts entered only apply to the roof system components of the claim.
| Inputs Needed(*required) | Description |
| Work Agreement Type* | Select Voluntary or Option-to-Repair (OTR) depending on the claim scenario. |
| Recoverable Depreciation* | Depreciation withheld by the carrier and released after work completion. |
| Non-Recoverable Depreciation* | Depreciation not reimbursable to the insured under the policy. |
| Non-Covered Amounts | Enter the dollar amount excluded from coverage due to policy terms or endorsements. This represents costs the insured is responsible for paying out of pocket. Enter $0 if none apply. |
| Applicable Deductible | Enter the deductible amount applied to the RCV total. This may be less than the full policy deductible. If part of all has already been satisfied elsewhere in the claim. |
| Prior Payments | Enter any payments already issued that relate to the RCV total. Prior payments impact how remaining funds are split between the carrier and the insured. Payments made to the insured or their representative increase the amount the insured must pay directly to the contractor. |
| Direction to Pay | By default, carrier payments are sent to RoofMarketplace to be held in escrow. If payment will be sent elsewhere, select Other to re-route the funds and ensure payment responsibilities are accurately reflected. |
| Change Orders | In the rare case that the loss is being settled with a signed release from the insured, and no change orders will be considered, then please advise. The contractor will then discuss any change orders directly with the insured. |
Review the automatically calculated totals when you've finished and click Submit. RoofMarketplace will then create and circulate the Work Agreement for signature.
